Our parent/guardian volunteers are integral to the success of the JTHS Marching Band Season!
Membership and volunteering are mandatory for your band member to be eligible to participate in the Senior Year Scholarship Program. See details below.

Membership Requirements
JTHS MPBA Membership Fee (1 per family):
$30– Cash or Check (made out to JTHSMBPA)
$31 – Venmo
"Pay to Play" JTHS Fee: families pay this fee to participate in all Activity & Sports @ JTHS.
Marching Band is considered an "Activity"
Per Activity: $50 Per Sport: $100 (Annual Cap: $200/student & $400/family)

Uniforms:
All Marching Band participants- (musicians & colorguard)
Pay a flat rate rental fee for their uniform for the season (rate TBD)
Purchase their own shoes, gloves, season themed t-shirt
Uniforms are Machine Washable & should be laundered regularly
Uniform fittings will be announced during the weeks leading up to the season.
Annual Physicals:
Due to the physical nature of Marching Band, all members must be medically cleared for the season
A "sports physical" needs to be completed annually paperwork can be found HERE
Submitted to JTHS school nurse- make sure to leave enough time to be cleared before Band Camp
"Football Friday" Meals: (optional)
Marching Band members stay after school on Friday to practice before football games
Sign up for "Football Friday" Meals and we will feed them dinner for the season!
Includes two (2) slices of pizza before each Friday football game
If you are absent, donate your pizza to a friend or have a parent arrange pickup!
One Flat Fee takes care of the entire season:
$40– Cash or Check (made out to JTHSMBPA)
$41 – Venmo
If you don't want to participate, make sure that you bring food from home!

Membership requirements to be eligible for the Senior Scholarship Program are as follows:
Each candidate’s Parent/Guardian must be a dues-paying member of JTHSMBPA every year the student is an active member of the Marching Band program.
In a candidate’s senior year, membership must have commenced prior to the start of the second marking period of the current year.
In addition to being a member of the JTHSMBPA, each Parent/Guardian must be an active member and meet the following criteria each year:
One parent or guardian of each Marching Band Member must sign up and volunteer at the Marching Band Home Competition.
Volunteer to donate or serve at one additional Marching Band Event (Pre-Competition Meal Donation or Server, Football Friday Dinner helper, Pit Crew, Chaperone, IcePop Breaks at Band Camp, etc.)
Sell at least 1 wreath to self, family or friends to benefit the Holiday Wreath Sale.
Scholarship candidates applications will be checked against Volunteer Sign-up sheets. Make sure to get credit!
